Well I love a good contest and I want to start the new year off with a bang! According to my poll, many of you have not experienced the wonder that is the Weather Warden series by Rachel Caine. So…. now you are going to get your chance! I am giving away one copy of book 1, Ill Wind. The Weather Warden series is packed with action and great characters. The stories are based on a supernatural concept unlike anything else I have read so far in urban fantasy. Not to mention the leading man, David, is big slice of sexy pie.

My new year’s resolution : plan my schedule and stick to it. I am great at organizing…. I just seem to lack the follow through. Taking 15 college credits this next semester on top of being a mom, president of a preschool co-op, and book blogging is going to be a challenge if I continue to run around with my head cut off!

Happy new year! I haven’t read this series but it sounds great. My goal is to read 100+ books in 2010. I didn’t keep track this year so I am not sure how hard it will be.
To make a review post on my book blog a minimum of once a week.
My resolution is to buy fewer print books. I’m running out of room and have a Kindle. The only exception will be continuations of series that aren’t available for Kindle.

One of my New Year Resolutions is….to get more organized when it comes to books I review, etc. I have to start writing things down as soon as I request it or sign up, or a author ask me to review so that when I get it I am not sitting there with a dumb look in my face wondering where this book came from..LOL I am so horrible about that!
I’m going to try more new things this year. Be a yes woman.

Well I don’t really do resolutions because I tend to find I fail in following them through LOL…instead for the year I have a Theme and I approach any project I undertake with that theme in mind… LOL soo 2010… it is “Risk Taker/ Booty Shaker!”
I’ve heard lots of good things about this series but haven’t read it. Soo.. I don’t do New Year’s resolutions, honestly but this year, I want to take better care of myself, no more junk food or laziness and I must say.. I’m off to a sucky start, LOL.

My resolution is to make up my mind one way or the other on getting a Kindle. By the way this series is great. I started the series around Thanksgiving and am now on book 6 “Ill Wind”. I tend to collect most of a series before starting it(or at least 3 or 4) and it has been great being able to finish one book and immediately start the next. The nonstop action has made this series unforgettable and the Djinn are a species as yet new and exciting.

I made a New Years Resolution a few years ago which was “I will never make another resolution because I can’t stick to them”.
Since then I have never made another !
