I’m scrappy!
Brooke over at RoyallyBitchy is ever so cool and awarded me the Honest Scrap award. It seems an acceptance speech is still not necessary, but I do however have to tell you 10, probably embarrassing, honest things about myself. Ok, here goes…. hopefully none of my family read this blog.
1. I have texture issues. Squishy/chewey/rubbery things need to stay out of my mouth. They make me gag.
2. My favorite drink is this thing called a Red Rock Cooler… served at a local establishment by the name of The Draft House. It is so yummy, I really need to figure out the recipe. 2 or 3 of those and you could do just about anything to me and I would giggle at you.
3. I used to play both fieldhockey and softball… and yes I am still mostly straight. Mostly.
4. I sometimes listen to Garth Brooks, in my car, when no one is around. When I was 18 I went to his free concert in Central Park – even after our car was towed for parking in the wrong spot in NYC. He is probably the only country singer I listen to.
5. My favorite color is purple. Surprising I know.
6. I like Math. I am a total math geek working on a math degree, even tho I turn 31 next month. I do not however play any sort of nerdy roleplaying games.
7. I love stubborn, strong, alpha men in whatever I read. Ironically, the hubby is so not alpha … he is more the laid back and go with the flow instead of the pull my hair and spank me type.
8. One of my daughters was born at home, on purpose.
9. Lora Leigh’s Breed and Elite Ops series’ are my guilty pleasure. Probably the first real erotica/romance w/ a splash of suspense novels I read.
10. I have read 240 books since I received my kindle in Dec 2008. In the year previous to the kindle, I read a total of 11 (7 Harry Potter books, 4 Twilight saga books).
Traditionally we are now supposed to tag 10 bloggers, but I have to run to a birthday party AND I think most of the people I would tag have already been tagged! I will look to see if there is anyone who hasn’t been tagged yet later tonight when I am floating on my cupcake sugar high…

I have massive texture issues too!!
#3 – LMAO
You are brave for having kiddie at home!!
I so feel you on your book count!
Congrats on your award!
LOL, I knew someone who couldn’t eat peas just because of their texture. You are not alone there.
I’m totally with you on loving Alpha heroes, but having a laid back hubby. That’s why Wendy’s my girlfriend. She does all the spanking and hair pulling I could ever hope for
My hubby was born at home. You and my MIL are braver women than I. I wanted to marry the epidural man….lurve me my drugs!
Thanks for playing along.
I kind of got hooked this year on reading too. Last year I read like 40 books and I’m already at 150 this year.
Loves your answers!
