E-Reader Chart Updated
With the announcement of the new Kindle 3 and the new Sony readers I went ahead and updated the E-reader Comparison chart here. I still need to update the larger e-reader chart but homework is calling for today. You can check out a review of the new Kindle 3 here.
I am obviously biased, but I absolutely can not wait to get my hands on a new Kindle 3. I’m still debating if I need the 3G or not and am willing to wait til this winter to order since technically nothing is wrong with my Kindle 1. But I am itching to click “buy now” on it. You should be too! Absolutely great new features and the lowest price yet!

I just ordered a Wi-Fi K3
I figured I’d save myself the 50 bucks. I have Wi-Fi at my house and that’s mainly where I use my Kindle. Hope you get yours soon!
I just got my K3 and I love the improvements. The text seems so much crisper than the K2. While it is a little smaller and lighter, I don’t really think it is that much different. My husband does say that the page turn keys are quieter than on the K2 (yes I would bother him at night reading). I bought the 3G one as sometimes I am out and finish a book without Wi-Fi around. I figured for $50.00 it was worth it. I had bought the K2 when it was a lot more expensive so the $189.00 seems like a bargain.
I love my K3. I got the one with 3G but honestly, if I had to do it over again I’d save myself the extra $50 and just get wifi. I have tons of unread books on there and I’ve never been in a situation where I NEEDED a connection. Plus there are hot-spots everywhere if you’re desperate.
BTW, books download in seconds using wifi. So much faster than 3G.
