Today you get a glimpse at my tiny garden in my Vegas backyard – various greens and geppers to be specific. It was either that or my schoolbooks because I am studying for a math exam today… I know that gets you all worked up.

The soil here is worthless so the best thing to do in the desert is to build your garden up…. aka raised boxes. I follow the square foot gardening philosophy but I am a bad example… I don’t mark out my squares like a good girl. I just plop some plants in and hope for the best. I’m also a lazy gardener…. the irrigation is so I don’t have to do anything but pull a few weeds here and there. In fact I have ignored the garden all week and all seems to be well, other than I really need to prune some greens to give to the tortoise.
